NUVI 680: Animals running in the map. Anyone else experience this?

Using the 680 today and trying to compare it with the 660. So obviously, I am paying lot of attention to the details while I am driving around. Punching all kind of buttons etc.
Strange thing is this, when I click on the MSN weather and select different city at least a 100 miles away, and come back to the map, within about 10 seconds, I will see a black cat running across the intersection ahead. Not on the street, but on the GPS.
It has happened 3 or 4 times, and I wonder if it is a joke put in by a programmer.

Anyone else experience this?

TIA

Black Cat

Mine Has Pink Elephants.

Are you serious?

Your joking right? I was wondering if I was hallucinating. Please tell me your joking.

Imagination

Well , i think you have a corrupted file.

It's just impossible.

You have to be more serious here and stop playing with your GPS like this or the next message will be ," Please insert 25¢ "

Black Cats and Pink Elephants?

Has the Christmas eggnog container been opened too soon?

You can walk a horse to water, but a pencil has to be led.

I believe it. My 660 gives

I believe it. My 660 gives me a traffic alert and displays a deer icon for every deer on the side of the highway here. Seriously, they are all tagged with transponders for tracking and it gets fed into the FM traffic broadcasts.

Are we caught in a matrix?

Neo: A black cat went past us, and then another that looked just like it.
Trinity: How much like it? Was it the same cat?
Neo: It might have been. I'm not sure.
Neo: What is it?
Trinity: A déjà vu is usually a glitch in the Matrix. It happens when they change something.

Is this for real? Does this mean that some tagged wild animals (a feline, perhaps...) do appear as black cats ? bad luck, by the way...

Yup, and we get Sasquatch

Yup, and we get Sasquatch alerts, too. It's how they find him to film those Jack Links beef jerky commercials. wink

So, based on the responses I

So, based on the responses I am assuming that everyone here thinks it's impossible or a joke?

I read the post and thought, "wow, interesting..". I guess we are to assume that the original poster is on drugs, lying, or making an odd joke?

Yes, possibly to all.

Yes, possibly to all.

Easter Eggs

ZedRight - it is believable to me. I have seen all kinds of "easter eggs" that programmers put in their code. I come from the PDA world and Palm did animated ones in theirs.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Easter_egg_(virtual) I tried... nothing happened though. Keep real good notes on what else may trigger it.
