Ok, we're using our little toy to take us from point A to point B, but what about pairing it with a good weather radio, automatically switching frequencies along the route?
Any recommendations for a particular model?
I know, the MSN traffic receiver is giving weather alerts (?) but already have a TMC w/my 660.
I'm lucky
I have an old portable CB that can be switched to get Local NOAA weather forecasts and I have XM radio which I can get major city weather info while travelling.
My BETTER half is getting nervous about our upcoming trip (weatherwise) which starts in 8 days !
She's mainly concerned about our mid-west travel !
When we were "younger" that never bothered her (us)- we would just get up and go ! Now at our more "mature" age we are more cautious !
