I have created a POI file folder under my documents and cannot get anything to load into it when I go to File>Save As. An error message come up stating it does not recognise a file name or path. I tried some of the tried and true files from this forum and still cannot get them to load into my POI folder. Sure could use some help.

OS?
Which Operating System are you using?

Downloading
When you're downloading files from the site, your computer might give you a choice to "Open" or "Save" the file.
It's best to choose "Save", and then you should be able to pick the folder where you want the file to be saved.
This way, the file you're downloading gets saved directly to your computer without being opened into a program like Excel or Notepad. You won't need to mess around with "File>Save As", and you won't run the risk of accidently making changes to a file.

JM - Thanx - I will give that a try and let you know.
JM - That may have done the trick - now all I have to figure out is how to get it into my nuvi 370. (as I mentioned, I have the downloader installed) I will let you know and maybe you can help me with that as I don't know what it is going to look like since it is the first time for me.
Thanx again,
Sandman
JM - OK that worked for me and now I thought I could just delete it when I was through with the "test" but I would have to delete all my POI's and favorite locations. This is according to the manual. Is that how you understand it??
