You can never predict when or where it’s going to happen and sometimes it’ll get you while you’re on vacation. We saw firsthand how our Bike Rescue Team and local first responders work together to reach riders in tough spots. While it wasn’t the vacation our friend from out of town planned, our team of first responders Crosby, MN Fire Department & Cuyuna Fire Department & 1st responders, EMS, nurses, and in the rider’s case, surgeons here at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center (CRMC) were nothing short of amazing in their care and coordination. We’re proud be home to such an amazing crew serving our community with heart and professionalism.

We were given permission to share photos of the extraction and to mention that our visiting rider, a close friend of our Managing Director, is already on the mend. His brand-new hip will take about six weeks to heal, and he’s eager to get back on his bike soon.
