Hello,
I've had my Garmin nuvi 1350T since it was new, courtesy of a gift from work at the time. I keep it in the car as a "just in case" since we are bingo on paper maps as a backup these days. I keep the maps updated via Garmin about twice a year and use an expansion card to make sure there's memory to accommodate it.
I used the GPS for kicks this week and, to my surprise, I received traffic data when in locations I didn't get updates in 6 months ago, and for a wider radius of highways. I'm assuming something changed in the broadcast coverage area since I used it last around January.
Given this new utility, I decided to see how much more I can update in the unit as, other than map data, it has gotten pretty much out of date. I've downloaded the compatible POI loader and will now look at how to update the 20-year-old POI datapoints.

Old nüvi 760...
Just back from a 2 week "figure it out" trip in our new-to-us 2020 Escape 19 trailer. (All fiberglass made in British Columbia.) During the trip we used the old nüvi 760 not only for navigation but also for the custom POI files and to listen to an Audible book through the truck's audio system. I'll never understand why the newer units don't do the things I love about this old unit. (I actually used to use it with the little microphone that came with the unit. My phone connected to the nüvi via Bluetooth and gave me hands free phone service.)
