up to Phoenixville, PA, tomorrow. wooohooo! Oaks Ice Center. Sure beats work (I have to go in 4/5 days and be on call every holiday woe is me just feel glad you are not me hahahahahaha).

I dropped my iPhone mini 12 on the bathroom tile floor a few months ago for about the 20th time. This time I was unlucky and the back glass broke.

Frightened by business press tales of $2000 iPhones in consequence of the new tariffs I finally bought phone a month ago.

This was my first ever transfer from one phone to the next and I was surprised that after I got through the difficult startup phase the transfer was perfect.

What was not perfect was my attempt to get trade-in value for my old phone. T-Mobile advised me that I had somehow failed to click the button when I was ordering to advise them that a trade was involved in and then since the transaction was over they could not actually give me a trade-in at all.

So I found a website online that offered to buy old phones with damage. The initial estimate was that they would give me $31, but when they reviewed my actual phone they noticed a crack on the back camera covering glass which I had failed to detect. So I got $10 instead.

Glad to be back here though.

Not windy

my son skate very oddly yesterday, caught it on video. Asked him if skates loose and he said no.

this makes me wonder, when it's 81F outside, what temp is the ice, vs. when it's winter and 30F outside?

We all know 20F for the ice surface is optimal. Any colder, skating is difficult. any warmer, ice is soft.

What is the ice temp on a 81F day? It can't be easy to HVAC the inside of a rink to make it same as in winter, darn near impossible if I had to guess.

When we got back, our bag was in the hallway, and a gentleman was standing and blocking the entrance of the locker room. This told me must be girls changing in there. What a life. Mean it 100%--totally beats a day at work.

and Canadian thishil.his eve's get wasps and bee's nests every year! i think he believes his yard will take care of itself, you never see him weeding or tending to his yard, i asked if he ever bought any weed killer he said no there all poison, i asked if he tried vinigar salt and dish soap mixture no its all a waste of time ! LOL i then sugested he get a goat who will do the job if he cant !

went to NW Phila again, will go 2 more times. 16 weeks has flown by.

Trying to get to a familiar store after picking up the car from a nee service center I tried.

Need to clean up all the dust from having the bathroom tile rest and grouted

For couple of decades I have almost always had a navigation system running anytime I'm driving. First it was a succession of Garmin dashtop units, now it is the built-in navigation of my Tesla.

One result is that I'm much less readily able to figure out where I want to go on my own.

Yesterday we drove about 100 miles to see a concert. Traffic was so bad we missed the first opening act. The rest of the concert was pretty good with one exception.

Willie Nelson: Excellent
Bob Dylan: Sucked big time. Very disappointing.

Today is really windy (again! I HATE windy days!!) I'm hoping to be able to get up on top of our new (used - 2020 model) Escape travel trailer to get the shroud off of the AC unit and find out why the fan only "Hums" rather than actually spinning. It may be a wasp nest in the cage or maybe a bad capacitor. Hopefully it's something easy like that.
