Description: The visitor center includes various ‐
exhibits and programs ranging from a large ‐
regional relief map, to films about the wild ‐
horses, canyon/area geology, and authentic ‐
historic displays.
This is a Passport Stamp Location.
We have a dated passport stamp as well as a junior ‐
ranger stamp and a bighorn sheep stamp for fun! ‐
These are located just inside the door to the ‐
Visitor Center on the right.

Directions: The Cal S. Taggart Visitor Center is ‐
just east of Lovell, Wyoming, at the junction of ‐
US Highway 14A and US Route 310.

Description: Medicine Creek campground is a ‐
boat-in or hike-in only campground. It is ‐
approximately 3 miles north of Barry's ‐
Landing by land or water. - Open All Year - Lake ‐
level affects the proximity of the boat mooring to ‐
campsites
Regulations Overview: 1. Overnight stays/camping ‐
in park is only allowed in established sites 2. ‐
Check-out is 12:00 pm 3. Quiet hours from 10:00 pm ‐
to 6:00 am; idling of boats is prohibited during ‐
quiet hours 4. Generators permitted from 8 am to 8 ‐
pm 5. Campsite occupancy may not exceed 14 ‐
cumulative days within a 28-day period 6. ‐
Collection of firewood is prohibited within the ‐
park 7. No attaching or tying items to trees 8. ‐
Pets must be leashed at all times and may not be ‐
left unattended
Reservation Info: These sites are boat or hike in ‐
only and are available on a first come first serve ‐
basis.

Directions: Boat in - Navigate north of ‐
Barry's Landing to Dayboard 32 and turn left ‐
into Medicine creek. Water fluctuations can change ‐
the access to the campground. Hike in - Follow Hwy ‐
37 north through the park to Barry's Landing. ‐
Park at Barry's Landing and hike ‐
approximately 3 miles in on the Barry's ‐
Island Trail.
