Garmin told me on Monday that the new CD was on backorder for two weeks, but I received it today...thank god they were wrong...lol.

yeap, it sure is. Just loaded the new maps and have absolutely no issues. I also didn't experience signal lock issues that some have reported. It found a signal in about 15 secs. Which about right in the house.
EDIT: Now that I think about, I didn't get prompted whether or not I wanted just the 48 states, or canada, etc. I heard some discussion here about that. Does that not apply to Nuvis?

Perhaps the installer was written to ask what to install in the event there was not enough room for the whole deal.

Same with my Nuvi 360
It did the entire install without asking me anything, I was also worried when I saw other people asking about Canada and the bordering states etc. I called Garmin and they said that the entire North America was installed...

Happens to lower priced units w/o bells & whistles, like my c330, maybe nuvi200(?). Any unit without a lot of memory.
