Garmin 1450LMT stuck on "Acquiring (or) Locating Satellites"

I press & hold on the signal bars on the home screen, and I can see that the unit finds 3 or 4 satellites, but it just stays at "Acquiring Satelites" for more than a few minutes, and only changes to "Locating Satellites" when I tell it to continue looking for satellites.

I tried a master reset, but it didn't change anything. Is there anything else I can do, or is this unit toast?

Give it 30 minutes or more.

If these older Garmins haven't been used for a while, it can take 30 minutes or longer for them to lock into the satellites. Plug it into a wall charger so the batteries don't run down, place it near a window where it can "see" the satellites and leave it powered on for a while. It should eventually lock in.

Incidentally, welcome to POI Factory. Check out the FAQs. A lot of information about Garmin devices is contained there.
