This week we're recognizing Jim1348, BobHy, and ruggb.
Over the last month, they shared their experiences using Open Street Map (OSM) on Garmin devices. I'm happy to see projects like OSM adding new life and capabilities to electronic devices that might otherwise end up as "e-waste" in a landfill.
Jim1348 opened a discussion asking for recommendations for adding bike maps for his Garmin Zumo XT.
BobHy answered the call for recommendations, suggesting extract.bbbike.org and openmapchest.org (which is the the tool Jim1348 eventually used).
In a separate discussion, ruggb reported his success using OSM European maps on his Garmin 3597 (US version) using freizeitkarte-osm.de
