POI Harvester

A nice little program to compile POI lists. It's called POI harvester. You type what you're looking for i.e. Grocery stores, the zip code and the radius in miles you want to search and it searches Yahoo and returns a list in .csv format with lat and long, phone # and address.
I've used this program several times and it worked great.

just tried this and there were over 3000 duplicate records
looked through it and was suprised to find all of the duplicates.

poi harvesting
I just used the poi harvester program to havest some poi's. Found the locations returned to be blocks off target.
