BaseCamp and Google Earth VIEW option

Years ago using the BaseCamp view option it brought up Google Earth and you could 'see' your waypoints!
Does anybody remember what version of BaseCamp and GE allowed you to do that?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks, Robert

Nope

But rather than use older software you can export data from BaseCamp as a .kml file and open it in GE.

Nuvi 2797LMT, DriveSmart 50 LMT-HD, Using Windows 10. DashCam A108C with GPS.

Blame Google

That was a great feature. So convenient. My understanding is that Google made a change and Garmin didn't make the upgrade. I think they needed to pay a licensing fee to Google which they refused to do.

What the Rocknicehunter said, the fee is per view, charge to the licensenumber and adds up real fast
nothing coded to the old free version works, even google hardware stopped accessing googlemaps
