8 days to go

Then ill be on my way home to the cold. Apparently this morning near the freezing point regardless if Celsius or Farenheit.
As I am writing this I’m sitting in shorts and a T shirt dripping but not from rain.
Oh well just a bit mote than 6 months until I’m back again, God willing and I’m on top of the grass.

Earth Week

I used the Garmin to find an address yesterday for picking up a used, but functional microwave oven for a friend. It's Earth Week, so it was good to find a new home for the used microwave, rather than seeing it end up in the trash.

I suggest not doing it
it works, it really does rain that hard, BUT
When you bring a full mug of rain water in the window, get hit by a large hailstone, and spill everything on the carpet, the wife gets pissed
