Morehead City to Boston and Back

Overall the trip went very well. As to be expected I-95 Northbound was a nightmare. Otherwise, no real problem with traffic. Avoided the toll roads, so we had a very scenic drive. Weather overall was awesome.

A case of bad news, that turned out to be a nothing. We went out to eat dinner and picked-up a nail. Turned out that there was a tire repair shop in walking distance to the motel so we dropped off the car there. (It was after working hours). They had the tire fixed by mid-morning so that didn't slow us down at all. grin

Still experimenting with using the Rest Areas file with Android auto. See: Making Restrooms POI Available on Google Maps. (http://www.poi-factory.com/node/51644)
In short, it is very cumbersome. It "works", but is not really that usable (real-time while driving). When stationary the resulting map looks fine.
