Back in Walla Walla...

after 1300 mile motorcycle trip. Little Nuvi worked great! Preparing now for return trip home with truck camper and trailer.

Looks like we jump back into the oven according to the forecast. Not that the NW has been a delight the last week or so either!

Just finished...

a 2000 mile road trip with our truck camper and trailer. Also did over 1300 miles of motorcycle riding. Both little Nuvi’s (vehicle and motorcycle) worked great!

Only down side was we went from Sin City heat into a heat dome over the NW. This made for a hot trip with record setting temperatures and lots of early morning riding.

Birmingham, AL

Took first trip out of town in over a year. Made a stop at Buckee's in Leeds, AL (near Birmingham). Big place, but of little interest to me. Good food, but no place to eat.

Visited our son

Visited one of our sons and his wife and daughter. She is our second to youngest grandchild and is 3 and a half. We have a younger one who is 2 and a half. Then we have a grandson who is 19, his sister is 21, and we have another grandson who is almost 25. Kind of spread out a bit... We also have a great grandson who is 2.

It was 112° at home but only 97° at our son's house. Felt sooooooo much nicer. We spent a long afternoon at the Trinity river playing in the water with our granddaughter. It was a really nice long weekend.

Went to husbands doctor visit and cancer injection.
Went to Whataburger drive through the home to eat.
Went to Walmart Pickup for 2 weeks groceries.

For us that is a very busy day.

fixing a steel roof, huge sheets, on a mostly flat roof on a house on a pretty steep hill
carrying a sheet, and the wind blew, pushed the sheet against my body straight off the roof
