New Garmin Express is out V.7.6.0.0

Just did it ,no problems.

PC

-Implemented the ability for newer devices to install maps to the computer.

-Resolved an issue with Express displaying a blank window when signing into Garmin Connect for select users.

-Other bug fixes and improvements.

Mac

That's really odd if you're a PC user. Maybe the Mac version of 7.6 wasn't pulled by Garmin.

No, it wasn't. I've had it since it was released and not had any problems.

Yes, a lot of folks have and successfully use 7.6 on PCs and Macs. But to determine what Garmin wants us to use now, PC or Mac, you need to uninstall 7.6, then download Garmin Express straight from Garmin and see what version is installed. (You can do this and still keep your GE settings when uninstalling, at least for the PC version.)

Having 7.6 isn't a problem if it works for owners and their devices. As I think may be the case, some of the newer Garmin devices like Fenix, whatever that is, may not be recognized or a Garmin device may not allow map updates to be unlocked, etc. If 7.6 works, keep it, but it may not be what Garmin is now considering its current version.
