Muell9k has been a member of POI Factory for nearly 13 years!

This week we're recognizing him for his thoughtful participation in the discussion forums. There was some confusion regarding the nature of another community members question and when that person clarified, Muell9k was quick to apologize. It was great to see thoughtful self-reflection in an online discussion forum.

Thank You To All For The Cow Award.

Most of all I want to thank Angela for the Cow Award, I am honored to have been chosen.

I also want to thank member Mred44 for his contribution to the forum and understanding of why some members were confused about his posts seeking help. I too was confused and is why he didn't list his model number. When mred44 advised of his suffering a stroke, I was totally ashamed of my replies to him. We now all know that the Garmin rebranded some of its Drive 50 devices as Drive 5.

I too have suffered a stroke 5 years ago and have severely diminishing mental abilities, lately it has gotten much worse.
It takes a long time to compose a simple paragraph and must rely on spell checker to make any sense of what I intended to write.

I was the editor of my High School newspaper and now can't even do a simple email, very frustrating to say the least. I also developed COPD and need to rely on oxygen to breath as well as rely on a respirator to sleep at night. I very seldom go out except for doctors appointments. Thank God for my wife for taking care of me, married for 49 years, without her I'd be lost, she will always remain my best friend.
