Covid Pfizer Dose 2!

Heading to the clinic this afternoon for my second shot. I had no side effects from the first dose, but based on what others have said I am expecting a day or two of symptoms this time.

MLB Spring Training Sites

It's that time of year when I photograph Major League Baseball spring training here in Central Florida. Even with the very strict MLB Covid-19 restrictions on outside media, I've had to travel to a couple of teams sites I haven't been to a number of years.

Last week it was Detroit vs. Pittsburg in Bradenton and Detroit vs. Baltimore in Sarasota. All my POI files from this site and my old trusty Garmin came in very handy in traveling around and getting to both parks along with a couple stops I had to make. For example, I forgot my SPF lip balm and had to stop at a Walgreens.

Gatlinburg, TN and Cherokee, NC

The normally slow tourist season in Gatlinburg, TN during January and February has not been present. There are lots of visitors in the area.

The casino at Cherokee, NC keeps growing. What was once a high rise and big asphalt parking lot has turned into two high rises and several four story plus parking garages. Who says the house does not generally win??!!?!!!

We both only had very sore arms with our second Moderna shot. Nothing else.
We read that people over 65 don't have as many side effects and we are both way over 65.
