Drizzly morning in SoCal but can't complain when I hear about the rest of the country. Stay warm, everyone!

Every 40 to 50 minutes blackouts

We have 40 to 60 minutes of electricity then 60 to 70 minutes blackout. Can't get house over 58 even with emergency heat. Now no water even when electricity is on. Just setting in chairs covered up with blankets. That is all we can do.

No Rolling Blackouts, But . . .

. . . we had some electrifying events nearby like I've never witnessed before in the 40+ years here. Power's restored for those who lost it, but there's dead wires down and the traffic lights remain out.

Mail Delivery

Waited all day yesterday for the mail. Last night at 7:30 got an email notice that my package could not be delivered because the mailbox was not accessible, but they left my regular mail which is a drive up mailbox and the street was plowed before noon that day. Good old USPS confused

Cold Friday
