The company I was with used Dells

We used them in work environments to run some of the equipment we manufactured. All our techs used them. We had very few issues. We bought a company and they used HP in their equipment. We had a lot of issues where the company decided we needed to be more specific of what we (as a company) required from HP.After we started specifying what we needed from HP our tech issues in the field started going away.

The first computer that I started using at work was a Dell. That thing lasted about 7 years before IT changed it out, even though it was still running. The next one was a Dell and the last one was a Dell. (That’s the one we had when I retired.) All of them ran 24/7. So, when I decided to buy my first computer years ago, I asked my IT guys what the best computers were? They all said Dell was the best followed by HP. Now, keep in mind that this was probably 15-18 years ago. But, I have used Dell’s all this time and have never had any issue with any of them.

My First computer was a Dell

My First computer was a Dell when they first came out. It worked fine but things were moving so fast back then it was outdated quickly. Bought my daughter an HP laptop for school. Nothing but problems. she wanted an Apple MacBook laptop and it is still going strong without a single hiccup for many many years.

My last 3 computers, I have assembled myself from parts. Very competitive in price and very fast computers. After you learn how easy it is, I doubt you would ever buy commercial product again. Many web sites that go though exactly how to assemble a fast computer. Carey Holtzman for one has a great web site, but there are many others.

I always built my own. Very satisfying.

The one I have now I just didn't want to build myself so a fellow employee offered to do it for free. I said no and gave him all the rebate money. Still running strong and it's been 5 years. Only thing I did was put in a SSD for the main C drive.

IBM the best and wishing election will be in peace

In my life, IBM and Dell are the best, but IBM got nicer keyboard option. But later on, IBM switching to Lenovo, since then, maybe DELL is the last option out there.
