Doctor appointment for the wife Monday and store tomorrow
Watched movies. Listened to music.
Drove to a glass shop.
Finally placed a glass top on an antique night stand with a worn-out finish.
We planned to visit our daughter in Central New York for Thanksgiving. She is in a rural area. Due to work she cannot travel to the NYC suburbs.
I updated the Driveluxe 50, decided on a route through the mountains in winter weather, and loaded POIs for the trip.
We were watching the virus numbers near us tick up but they weren't that bad. Just before we left, she called with the news that the virus numbers in her county, which had been very low, had gone up a lot, even more than the numbers by us. We cancelled the trip. It was a good thing. After the weekend the numbers were even higher.
We are currently to stay in our local areas. have made a couple of trips locally for supplies but being close to home always.

Went to a benefit for the family of a friend that passed away.
We traveled to Laurel, MS to see some of the homes that were redone by Ben and Erin Napier whose show, Home Town, appears on HGTV. In addition to seeing the remodeled homes, we saw them doing a live interview, and visited their stores. It was a fun day and gives insight to what creative and dedicated groups of people can do to restore or maintain the quality of a dwindling small town.
Everything else has been cancelled.

In the doctor's waiting room again today. Husband getting 3rd Alphamedix treatment today. About 9 hours here today. I brought my tablet and drawing pad. No one is allowed in the treatment room with him because of the radiation.
