Garmin Basecamp

I would like to install Basecamp on my D: drive since it has much more space than C: Uninstalled it and when I tried to reinstall no opinion appeared asking where to install. Any options to make this possible? Birdseye files take a lot of space and was hoping to put them in D: too.

Well

BaseCamp has to be installed on C: but maps etc can be moved to D:

Simplest way is to Google JaVaWa GMTK and use that program to move your maps. Can't recall if that can move BirdsEye too but if not ask here again as there are other ways to do it.

Maps moved, Birdseye Not

I have moved the maps and it works well with a shortcut placed in the usual Maps fold going to the D: drive. But not sure if I can do the same with the Birdseye files. Anyone know?

Well

One way would be to create a virtual removable drive, again there is information on this from JaVaWa at https://www.javawa.nl/virtualdevice.html
