I VOTED!

My wife and I received our ballots today and didn't waste any time filling them out. At this point, there is nothing that will change our votes, so why wait until election day?

Because of all the controversy about mail ballots, I debated whether to mail them back in or personally deliver them to my county auditor's office which would be about a 1 hour round trip drive to downtown. I have no reason to distrust our local Post Office employees, so I decided to mail them. My state has an online tracking system for absentee ballots, so I will be able to know that our ballots were received and will be processed on election day. The only risk is if we mismarked something which would cause a spoiled ballot, and we were extremely careful.

I don't want to start a political debate, but I would be interested in hearing about other Factory members voting experiences during this very unusual voting year.

I fully intend on voting in person!

When we had the June school voting I did some research for a couple towns. I found that the number that voted were MORE THAN the number of people on the town census. One town had over 1000% increase in voters. Sorry, but I don't trust the system.

I just checked the ballot tracking system for my state, and our ballots have been received at the county auditor's office on Oct. 9, two days after I mailed them. So the US Post Office came through again ... glad I didn't bother to make a personal delivery trip to the auditor's office.
