Well

My husband's oncologist is sending him to a cancer center in Dallas.
I am making way points and a route for Google maps and for our car. After a little refreshing I remembered how to do POIs for Google Maps. Then I downloaded all of the Garmin software to my fairly new computer. I now need to download the map to use BaseCamp so I am downloading the map to my Garmin Nuvi 2450 that has not been off the shelf for a few years.
While I am doing that I am taking a refresher course here on the Factory as I have forgotten all I knew about making and importing POIs to my car. Thank goodness for POI-Factory.

Thank you, I pray every night that the doctors can find a way to stop the progression. It is a slow cancer and this has been a hard time but I am now in denial as to anything bad happening to him so that helps.

I will let everyone know as soon as I find out.

To make matters worse my younger brother found out last week he has prostate cancer and they did surgery the next day and said the surgery probably gave him 3 more years. The cancer has spread to his spine. They are giving him 4 pills a day of a hormone. It seems that hormones are used alot in cancer patients now.
My brother was in a helicopter that was shot down in Vietnam which left shrapnel in his head that is inoperable. During the same time period he was soaked with Agent Orange which is probably why he has the cancer.

We are all taking everything a day at a time. My husband and I are trying to keep doing as we always have to keep it normal as we can. We go shopping twice a week and out to eat on the weekend. This is all we ever do other than travel. We have had to put the travel on hold for now because of the treatments.

We are staying positive and we will make it.
Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.
Mary
