When you are dead, you don’t know that you are dead. It is only difficult for the others. It is the same when you are stupid.

The big fix was to correct the MapInstall problem. Now IMG maps can once again be installed with MapInstall 4.2.1 included in BC 4.7.1.

Sticking with 4.6.2

I'm still sticking with 4.6.2 because of its direct link to Google Earth. To dispense with the annoying reminder to update from 4.6.2 each time its opened, I blocked Basecamp from accessing the internet. With Norton its done from Settings > Firewall > Program Control > Basecamp and set it to Block.
If you don't care about the link, there is no reason not to update.

Updated

Thank you.

Win10 allows you to block it directly if you don't have Norton or similar
