In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.
This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.
Steak bagels. YUM.
did not use gps other than to give wife ETA on the way home
Getting ready for two weeks of Pickleball Camp:
Here we go
Work and took the bike in for the 40K aervice
Just got home from several days of peace and quiet.
Did not need the GPS at all, other than to get an idea of the arrival time, based on the construction along the way...
Home after 5.5 weeks on the road in our little teardrop trailer. Great trip but sooooooooooooo much rain! Also got caught in the "Minnesota Triangle". For some reason Minnesota closes entire highways rather than letting cars through in a single lane. Also, for some reason the detour signs are few and far between and there aren't any freaking arrows to tell you exactly which way the detour goes. Made my wife crazy trying to get out of Minnesota.
for many purposes during trip from Mesa, AZ, to NE Iowa, and back. Can't live without the GPS.
to have a tooth pulled. Not my favorite trip , but glad to have the toothache gone!
Work and home
Trip to Ontario's west coast.
Have a good day!
Work all week
No where for the past week.
...up to the Ventura California area. Partly to meet up with a couple of friends who were here from Germany, and also to just spend a few days visiting some of my old stomping grounds in the Thousand Oaks area. I always feel so relaxed when I'm there.
remember if I already said it Birmingham, AL, then Brooklyn, NY. After that Chicago IL is on deck in 2 weeks.
We are so ready for a trip. Now that my husband is feeling like doing something we plan to go visit my sister that is a couple of hours away. Hopefully we will get to go in the next couple of months.
Fall is coming although it is still quite warm...
Went grocery shopping.
to the grocery store maybe?
almost an hour in the parking lot while the wife was in a hobby shop of some kind today
To a wine-pairing dinner event with an old friend from out of town.
Dunkin donuts yum yum
Back in Florida this week.
Had to go into part of town that floods when it rains the other day. Lucked out on not seeing water but ran into a lot of unexpected construction.
Going to meet a fellow to sell a few of my tools I don't use anymore.
Missed a few weeks, getting back on track.
Used my trust Garmin to get me from BWI Airport to the Delaware beaches and back.
Rode to Amelia Island for a couple days.
Just beginning my annual migration from Thayne, Wyoming to Benson, Arizona. I will be spending 3 nights in the Ketchem Idaho area and then 2 nights in Caldwell Idaho. After that, we will travel to the north rim of the Grand Canyon , going through Provo Utah.
Jam packed. Couldn't even get down the street!
Baltimore, MD to Oyster Bay, NY.
Went to the Badlands, Mt. Rushmore, Custer Battlefield, drove the Beartooth Highway, (what a sight), Yellowstone, the Tetons, Bryce Canyon, Zion NP, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley (kept looking for John Wayne, but didn't see him), and Arches NP. Arches was probably my favorite. Had a great time. almost got trapped by the flood waters in Mitchell, SD, but drove about 40 miles north to get away from them. All in all; a good trip.
As it is fondly known as: traveling from home on Eastern Shore, MD to the other side of the Chesapeake Bay. I did come back home too.
and we get on the road on Sunday. Ten days of vacation with friends and family. House sitter will love the peace and quiet
Nothing special happened.
Trip to the International Plowing Match.
To work and beyond!
