map refreshing

Has anyone had any trouble with the maps not refreshing correctly?
Mine just started to (off and on) to not refresh so my map is blank as I move along. My car also tends to 'travel' down the road (like if it was set to north up). It also may take a few seconds, like 3 or so, for the car to even start moving.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have seen something like this
If I set my system settings for "Map" -> "Map Detail" to "Least" instead of "Most" AND if I have the zoom-in detail set very high.

Happened once. Did a hard reset (finger in right hand bottom corner when starting) and it hasn't happened since.

I keep my nuvi 200 on Most Detail without any delays. I agree that it sounds like time for a reset.
Odd thing about the "Hard Reset". It clears the favorites (don't forget to backup current.gpx) and restores all default settings, but doesn't clear uploaded vehicles or custom POIs.

I did a softone, but I will try a hard reset.
