In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).

Long drive to Mexico
Left home on Saturday 27th, detoured via D.C, Tuscaloosa then to just north of NOLA and via Baton Rouge to Laredo. From there another 1,000 miles to my winter home just north of Manzanillo, Colima.
Trying to get used to the large temperature differences now from home to here.

Yeah... since this was elusive, we used our sumo 665 to go hunting for a McDonalds that was serving a McRib. McD's app is horrible, and would probably make for a good POI addition to dump their map to a live POI file here... if anybody actually likes the sammiches... I was left, well, less than impressed from the last time. But it's not the destination, but the journey.

nuvi 1450 finally starting to act up
Pittsburgh, PA to Eden Prairie, MN to visit my daughter for a few days then back home.
The 1450 is getting memory full errors calculating the ROUTES I have been using for years for each direction. It also can not show me POIs Along My Route. It shows me POIs the are 980 miles away. It is fine when I look for POIs around my current location.
Oh well! It has served me well for many years!

Fort Benning, ga
Drove down to Benning for my grandson’s family day. Used the nav system in the car. Noticed that Sirius/XM traffic covered the entire states of TN and GA. I found that interesting since I will lose traffic coverage about halfway between Cincinnati and Columbus. I also lose it about 20 miles south of Cincinnati and don’t pick it up again until I’m about 20 miles north of Lexington. I lose it again south of Lexington and don’t pick it up again until I hit TN. Interesting! But, the trip was good.
