Express 6.9.0.0 update

I am still happily running Express 5.5.0.0 on my Vista laptop. The good news is that it seems the forced update of Express (which obviously installs a non usable version on Windows Vista) is no longer being pushed out when starting my old version of Express. I just get an error banner stating that "Old versions of Express are no longer supported". I can simply close this message and continue using the old version to install whatever updates I need on my devices.

But how will it ever detect your vívoactive 3 Music device?

Just did both laptops.
Curious thing, I have 4 Garmins registered. On one laptop where all 4 are shown there is a blue circle in the top right corner of the GPS picture with number ( 1 ). The other laptop has a different number for each GPS, ie a 6, a 3, a 1 and my new DS 50 no number.

Any idea why and what for? Could it signify updates?

Yes, it's the number of updates (map, traffic, firmware, time zone, etc.) that Garmin Express thinks your devices need.

A new installation/update always has it checked off !!!

and run in background is checked off. had a little glitch im running windows 10 1809 and it started to download in a loop and never finish so I turned it off and re started ge this time it worked, lucky me. lol

With no issues.

All went well, except GE is telling me that I need to update the Traffic Provider.xml file for Switzerland again.
