NUVI 250W (memory is full)

Since i have downloaded 2019.1,2019.11 is no better, when i turn on the GPS it says memory is full and at times way points are full.When i check memory there is 77.MB used 1.13 remaining, and on the SD card there is 2.67 GB used and 4.72 free.When i delete a favorite it will go black and i have to restart.I am not a proficient user so keep it simple.Any thoughts.Thank you.

I assume that 1.13 is GB and not MB. if it is MB, that is definitely not enough, and would be what is causing problems.
Assuming it is GB and not MB, I think I would do a full backup, they try a system reset.

Waypoints?
When you say waypoints, what are they and how many do you have? If your waypoints are what Garmin calls Favorites or Saved places in the nuvi, you may have maxed them out. My guess is that the 250W can only have 500 although maybe the answer is 1000:

What do i lose in a system reset and do i just reload the new map to get it back to normal? Also what is the procedure to do a reset.
