Voting For 2017 Contributors Of The Year

It’s time once again for the POI Factory community to select our Contributors of the Year!

This year we will be awarding trees to the top TWO vote getters!

Voting is now in progress and will run until midnight December 31st (Eastern Time).

Voting is open to anyone who currently has General Maintainer status (stars), and you can vote for any General Maintainer (other than yourself, JM or myself).

You vote for someone by clicking the button that says "Vote for This User" on their user profile page.

How you voted is not visible to other users, but a summary of people who've received votes is available on this page:

I had to chuckle seeing my own name. (I didn't vote for myself.)

Seeing a number of familiar names made the choice a bit more difficult. Thanks to all who contribute to the site!

Lots of deserving members.

Only 29 votes cast so far? I did a rough estimate on the number of General Maintainers, so I think that comes out to about 10% voter turnout. Don't be coy, vote for a COY!

Cow of the year

There are many long time members here who through the years have contributed a lot to the POI Factory membership. They need to be singled out for their contributions and selected as a nominee for the award. Many hours goes into making and maintaining custom pois that are used by many of us here at POI Factory.Along with creating FAQ'S,participation in the forums with good solutions,creating sound,vehicle and icons files and the list goes on and on. So we need to get some names out there and let them know we appreciate what they are doing. Remember some members work in the background and the work they accomplish benefits most all of us.

Tough choice

I have yet to vote. Maybe next year we will be able to vote for more than one. Not sure how that would complicate things, but it would be nice. Too many coins to flip.
There are several people here that have always helped others as well as myself.
