Sorry it's up so late. Still recovering. Have plastic splints in my nose until tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get a full nights sleep after they're removed. It's not easy being a mouth breather. razz

Thanksgiving dinner

Had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner here in Mexico. Has to be at a restaurant owned by someone from up north. Mexicans just cannot cut it for a good turkey dinner.

I have always disliked turkey ... don't care for the taste of the foul fowl and I hate the smell of it cooking. I know I am unusual as so many people find it to be a real holiday treat.

I think my dislike goes back to my early teen years (13 to 16) when I occasionally worked for a local turkey farmer in Iowa. Although I am a farm boy, I was used to cattle, pigs and chickens but we never had turkeys on our farm. My part time work at the turkey farm made me hate them as the most stupid, filthy, disgusting and disagreeable animals that I can imagine.

black friday

seems like we are losing all the brick and mortar stores and I see in the mall near me a lot of empty stores amazon is putting a lot of stores out of business ! I went to Walmart about 2:oo Friday and it was nice no body was there no crowd's and I like to look and feel when I'm shopping and if I'm not happy with something I can bring it back ! dealing with online business you have to return things thru the mail or ups and some require having to apply for a return number before you can return it and if it's not expensive it could cost you more than its worth to return it !

Glad you are doing better. If I sleep on my back I am a mouth breather. It is no fun. At least I can turn on my side to breath normal. (Usually a nudge from my husband for me to turn to my side as when I breath out of my mouth I snore) smile
