Changed the title

I changed the title a little. It's my understanding that he was fined for claiming to be an engineer without being licensed as an engineer in Oregon, rather than being fined because he challenged the RLC timing.

It's an interesting story. According to the article it looks like they're claiming he practiced engineering without a license. I guess I'm curious as to what that means. I would assume that would only apply to a situation where he used his skills in exchange for goods and services.

I think it was he didn't have an engineering license issued by the engineering board of Oregon as he'd performed time and motion studies and produced a document of the analysis.

While I applaud him for not seeking any financial award, I'd love to see the board have to pay all the court costs and the reasonable attorneys fees.

Idiots like this really need to be stripped of their professional licensing status, something akin to bein disbarred or having ones medical license revoked.

Y'know, before y'can teach a dog a behaviour, y'gotta be brighter n' the dog!

Why do you need a License to defend your Wife

Was his math correct? If he was defending a friend or non family member I see the charge, but being wife it was a defense, not Job. He is a Engineer if he has a Degree in Engineering, just not a "Licensed Engineer",just as a Math major is a Mathematician. The Judge was just being cute and defending RLC Revenue enhancement!
