Bad Weather
We were fortunate in that most of the worst weather this past week missed us by about 10 miles. The weather alarm radio was repeatedly sounding for tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings.
Page 2 -- A busy week for me
Sewing all weekend and yesterday. Finished my new handbag.
Doctor this week, visit with my sister this week and grandkids and son and daughter-in-law coming to visit this week.
A lot to pour into one week for someone who is not used to doing anything extra.

I think I mentioned to you that my older brother had a '55 exactly like yours back in the mid 60's. I was only 16 at the time, but he let me drive it often. We have taken it to the gas station once. That is all I have been in it. My husband brings it out of the garage each week and lets it run in the drive way. We want to take it to a car show but just haven't. Hopefully this year we will.
It is made to look stock in and out.
But the engine is a 454. He likes the sound.
The inside looks stock. The radio is a new one made to look stock but is digital inside and we can play mp3s on it. The seats are original frames but I upholstered them. The seats have the same outline as stock but I did embroidery and roll and pleat on the.
We had a 56 chevy with a 210 from 1959 till 1985 or so when we gave it to my brother. It was a two door but a post.I know how you felt driving it. It was a neat experience to have and drive in the late 50's and early 60's.
I put the 55 photo on here when they were having problems with the web site but I see my old photo is back. Will try to put the chevy back on when I am less busy.
