POI Loader trouble, need help!!

Hey everyone, im relativley new to GPS and even newer to POI files. I think the idea of sharing and creating POI's is great. I currently have a Nuvi 350 and I am running windows xp. I want to add POI's to my nuvi, so i went to the Garmin wedsite and downloaded POI Loader. I then opened an account here. The problem im having is that POI Loader isnt installing properly on my computer. I can download the EXE file from the website, but when i go to open the file on the computer and install it, a quick garmin POI Loader window pops up with a blue status bar on the bottom like it is installing properly but then it dissapears and nothing has been installed.
Please, could somebody help me! I would love to try this feature out!

after trying several times
after trying several times to get this to work, im still left with nothing. Even if I look in my start menu>all programs there is nothing garmin
Suspend and/or re-download
The problem im having is that POI Loader isnt installing properly on my computer. If you have some kind of anti-virus (AV) software installed on your computer, it is highly probable that it is preventing an .exe file from executing and modifying your system. If so, you may want to temporarily suspend your AV software prior to running POI Loader.

Your download file may be corrupted. Try re-downloading POI Loader.
