Question about Nuvi 2460

Ok, I'll admit the old 2460 is getting a little dated, but up until my last trip, it has served me well. While coming through Chatanooga, the unit just "locked up " and would not update. I finally powered it down, and then it would not power back up. After several attempts to restart the unit, I just powered it off. After about an hour, I tried to restart the unit, and low and behould it came up normally. I have used it a couple of time locally, and it seems to be working OK. Has anyone else had a similar issue with a 2460. Just curious if it is about die for good, or was just an anomally. Thanks in advance

.

Sometimes the units experience glitches.

I have found that pressing and HOLDING the power button will typically "unfreeze" the unit and cause it to restart.

2460 issues...

I have a 2460 as my primary nav. It's paid for and has lifetime maps (for what that's worth).

Some times the little sucker reboots. I think it's related to the crummy bluetooth code used with the garmin ODB-II thing, whatever it's called.

I've had it hang a couple of times over the years, and when that happens, I force a restart.

All in all, it's more reliable than some other microprocessor-based things I deal with on a daily basis.
