Need help signing petition

We all know police officers have one of the most dangerous job. I do not know if you are familiar with this particular story but two rookie New York City Police officers were doing patrol in one of the most dangerous housing projects and at the end an innocent person was killed due to an accident. It's disgusting on what the officer is going through right now. Serving the public and now he will land in jail for an accident he wished never happened. Rookie cops, dark stairwell and being put into a dangerous housing project doing vertical patrol can be bit scary. Yes I know he is a cop but he is a human being too just like I. I do not think he deserve any jail time. He has already lost his job and took an innocent life. Please show your support by signing this petition.

Political thread?

I thought POI Factory was not going to get into politics. But if that's the case, watch for th4re flood gate, particularily this year!!!

+1 on political

I agree this is a political point however, from the news story referenced it appears as if the jury decision hinged on the giving of CPR. The defendant stated he did not because he felt "he was not qualified" because he cheated on the test "and did not practice on a dummy."

I agree that it is terrible

Sadly, you have no concern for the life that was lost or the family that is coping with that loss.

Needless to say, I am not signing your petition.

I hope that you develop this level of concern for other human beings.

This thread is bound to get

This thread is bound to get heated soon.

I don't believe this has any place on this forum.

I never get lost, but I do explore new territory every now and then.

This is a HUH? He's already

This is a HUH? He's already been convicted, no? Not much point in a petition asking for the DA to withdraw the indictment.

This thread has a high risk of devolving into unfriendly argument, and there doesn't seem to be much upside potential for further discussion; so I'm closing comments at this point.
