Muell9k

Earlier today, Jonathan and I received a note from Muell9k letting us know that he suffered a stroke in January. He’s lost his language skills and is receiving therapy, but it will take a long time for things to return to normal for him. As such, he won’t be able to respond to emails or participate in in the discussion forums.

Muell9k is a longtime member and has been a frequent contributor, and we’re saddened to hear he has to face this difficult situation.

We asked and received his permission to share this information, as we felt many of you might like to take the opportunity to offer your thoughts of support and words of appreciation for all he’s contributed to our community.

Again, he may not be able to read this thread for some time. But we want him to know that we’re sorry he’s going through this; and we’re grateful to know he is on the road to recovery.

~Angela

My Thamks To All

Thanks to all that posted. It's a chore just to select words that make any sense to my mild. It’s is extremely frustrated not finding words, it is like I’m being at the mercy at my own mind.
I just can’t convey my thoughts so others will understand. I had no physical signs of a stroke. It scares me to have people not able to understanding what I’m trying to saying.

February 18th, I will begin to have therapy sessions to recall language’s skills that I’ve lost. It will be a long journey and hopefully I can get some of my memory back.

I am 68 years old never expected this to this happen to me, but there are far worse individuals than myself and I’m I am thankful for that.

Please thank Craig and Alan’s contributions for taking over the maintenance role for the NUVI’S WITH POWER.CRADLES.
I think it should have been updated as of January 2016.

Again thanks for the support and I am looking forward to some day being able to participant at the forum.

Best Regards
Will

Prayers go out to you Will (Muell9k)

Praying for a total recovery for you.
My sister just went through this at 73. After therapy she is now walking and talking again as she did before.

Just take one day at a time. It will happen. And enjoy each day as you improve.

Thoughts are with you and your family, Mary
