Update for Mac OS X Garmin Express appeared for me today. Updated with no trouble.

Any idea what the update

Any idea what the update does? Updates are getting very frequent for a lot of programs, I've often wondered what they are fixing. I have one program that takes you to a page of what the update did, but only after you apply it. I hate taking updates that supposedly fix something that I'm not having a problem with.

Yes it is frustrating but at least with the GE program one, if I remember right, can disable the "Always keep Garmin Express running in the background" which should stop it from loading when Windows starts. If not just remove the Garmin shortcut from the Startup folder.

I disabled it, no longer shows up in the tray, nor does it automatically run when I plug in one of my Garmins.

Installed on Windows 10

Thanks for the notification! New version 4.1.12.0 is now installed on my Windows 10 machine.

It did save my settings to NOT run in the background and NOT launch automatically.

I generally don't update GE

I generally don't update GE until new map time. If there's a software update for my unit's, checking 3 or 4 times a year is sufficient.
