Need help to install in BaseCamp

I want to install the ‘Campgrounds an RV Parks Combined’ (11-16-2015) file in BaseCamp.

So I downloaded the CSV version, I converted it to GPX format using the ‘Navman Comma Separated (*CSV)’ version of PoiEdit.exe. When I try to import it in BaseCamp, I get an error message.

So I tried to convert it using ‘Extra POI Editor’. I see the data in the Editor, saved it as a GPX file. When I import it in BaseCamp, I import fine, but I only get the names of the campgrounds, not the address which I see in the Editor.

What am I doing wrong?

Try This

I believe sbbjm's reply toward the bottom of the post provided the solution.

I looked at those links, and

I looked at those links, and what I understand from them is that I need to modify the CSV file.
I am not an expert, but I would think that the person who created the file would have made it possible to convert to GPX without having to modify each line. There must be something I am not understanding.

Pretty big file..

I used this file often during the summertime. Appreciate all the hard work individuals put in to make this site possible.

Look here

It's a tutorial I wrote on using EPE and converting CSV files.

Don't need to modify each line

You don't need to modify each line. Using the functions I pointed out in Excel you modify the column in its entirety.

The problem is that there are a number of CSV formats that work with various devices and GPX files can contain more detail. I would not expect everyone to create a CVS file to import into a program or device they were not familiar with. I am extremely grateful for the work folks do in creating the files I've downloaded even when I need to do a bit of modification to use the full features I want.
