The first Macado's restaurant was opened in Roanoke,VA. It became popular for its display of cartoon, antique and local decor. It had a wide array of hearty sandwiches, subs and entrees. Over the years, additional restaurants have opened in Central and Southwest Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina. Their most newest location recently opened in Bristol,TN.
I had the opportunity to eat at this new location. I was impressed by its listing of sandwiches with the unique names, such as, Annie Oakley, Big Daddy and Carpetbagger and many
other names. All of the sandwiches served at our table were huge and delicious. If you have the opportunity to dine at one of the Macado's, I would definitely recommend it.
