spring and summer officially cancelled

evil Spring and summer are are officially cancelled here on the east coast of Canada. With another 4" of snow last night bringing the total to over 5' total so far this season, not enough days left to melt it all, freezing rain on the way later on in the day changing to, you guested it, snow. This is NB Can,I think NL Can has give up and sank back into the ocean.

Sorry Boy-os

I feel sorry for my East Coast brethren (a brother-in-law lives on The Rock), but this has been the best winter we have had in south-central Alberta for years!

I drive a fair bit for work and this was my last winter on the job... and I could not have hoped for better conditions.

C'mon Spring!

threat

We had our last threat of snow a week ago. I put new skids on the snowblower to scare it away and it worked. It went all around us in western PA.

I'm not foolish enough to put the snowblower away for the season yet!

spring slowly coming to N.E. Ohio

nice slow spring, not so great for humans at the end of winter but the plants like it.

Snow

Sorry everybody is freezing and buried in snow. I just wish we could get some snow in the mountains here in California. We need it desperately.

I did remove the snow tires

I did remove the snow tires this past weekend.

This morning was 19 degrees, but no snow is in the forecast. I went skiing this weekend and I would swear Spring is never coming except for the birds banging on my windows.

Spring is upon us

Spring is sprang but for many it is only for some parts of the country.

totally ok

I would be ok with going right back to winter (except we'll be at Soldier Field this July 4th holiday and don't want to miss that).

I am starting to not like the idea of getting older, and having a toddler makes me even more aware of time passing by in 6 mo. increments...

Well

I guess you could move east, got plenty of water here. The great lake I'am gazing out the window at is frozen at the moment with ice as far as I can see to the north, east and west. However soon it will thaw and be swimmable.

What a crazy time we live in

Anchorage had to truck in some snow for the start of the Iditarod and I hear the snow pack on Greenland is receding, but our friends in the northeast are still shoveling their driveways and it's nearly April!

If you get this far (NB) give me a call, I can at least show where you went wrong, Actually you will never meet more friendly people, your first meal should be fish and chips second turkey, corned beef and cabage. Tell them(the neufs as the locals are known), that the limey sent you.Good luck.

Oh yeah

So Winter snuck up on us and dumped 10 centimeters of snow on us since lunch. Nothing compared to the 40 - 50 centimeters they're getting down East, but I WAS hoping we would get through March without a storm rolleyes

The fish and chips are second only to those from the local "chipee" which are, wrapped in newspaper and are eaten on the street on the way home from the pub on Sat night. There now you have my mouth watering. Have a great trip.

mold

its been raining pretty much of the month so I haven't washed the truck , I park it the same way each time and get in on the same side that faces the house never looking at the other side of the truck, well went to the store and getting back to the truck you wouldn't believe the amount of green mold that had built up !!! it was so bad when I got home I washed it in the rain my neighbor thought I was nuts, but that crap will eat all your rubber seals on your windows and crap.
