Nuvi 2597 Diagnostics

On my 855, I could press/hold the speed display and a Test/Diagnostic screen would come up allowing various tests to be completed and show additional info about the device.

Is there a similar function on the 2597?

Same as before, hold the speed indication at the center of the part circle for about ten seconds. Another way is to touch volume on the main screen. Then press and hold the upper right corner of the screen.

Yes, pressing and holding

Yes, pressing and holding the speedometer brings that up as well as press and hold on the battery icon will bring up another set of screens. Also, holding the antenna bars will bring up the GPS screen and the constellation of satellites.
