Out of curiosity if JM can tell us if the HM (Honorable Mention) badge has ever been awarded. It may be time to start awarding this not so much as an every week award for coming in second, but when the decision between a COW winner and others is a real tough choice. That keeps it kind of special and lets a contributor know their efforts and help were noted but someone else did just a little more so they got the big prize (and the All-You-Can-Eat Sunday Buffet at Chick-fil-A).

The HM has been a rare bird around these parts, making an appearance perhaps once or so in a year. It was last spotted about a year ago on 1/1/2014.
I'd be happy to see it around more often, so Angela and I will make sure to put some seed out in the bird feeder.
We have a wide range of people in our community. Not everyone has the time to participate as often or as long as our typical COW recipient, but I believe it's still important to shine light on things that are being done by newer users or people who contribute less frequently. Awarding the HM more frequently, along with the COW, is one way we can do this.
