Let me be the first to through out a Happy Veteran's Day to all our vets. Without you men and women, we would not enjoy the freedom that we enjoy today. There is, and will always be, a rivalry between the services; but when it comes down to it, all vets will stand together. It is one big club and I am proud to be a part of it. God bless all the vets and God Bless America!

PS - I wanted to join the Navy (and club as maddog67 calls it) back in 1974 after graduation. But at the physical they made me stand under a sign that said 4F. It seems they don't accept individuals who were born deaf in 1 ear. It still makes me a little mad. It seems to me I could have done something useful.

This is my favorite youtube film of all time. It's awesome using headphones. I envy you guys (the shooters). I was a Navy Airedale (AT) working on a navigation device called the ARN-52 and my squadron was aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge, CVS-33 (a long time ago).
