Indeed

I believe it is true and that it is being replaced by the c340.

Chris

Yes, it's no longer

Yes, it's no longer available, except orders via vendors. The Garmin website states that this model (C330) is discontinued... Of course, this is because I just bought mine less than a month ago.

Not replaced but...

Chris

The c340 is the next step up from the 330 and it has text to speech. If they did away with the 330 that puts the 340 at the bottom of the line in the Street Pilot series.

I wonder how long it will be before they discontinue my c530. There is really not much need for is with the extensive Nuvi line.

Didn't the c5xx series

Didn't the c5xx series replace the c3xx series? I agree, the nuvi line is getting pretty extensive and cheaper, might as well go with the nuvi.

Delayed reaction.

The entire StreetPilot C3xx and C5xx range (except the C580) has been marked in the UK Pricelist as "discontinued" for the last few months.
I thought it odd that the main Garmin website didn't get updated in the same way.

i am on my 4th c-330 in two

i am on my 4th c-330 in two years and have friends that had all sorts of problems with the c-330 i guess garmin is tired of fixing the units also .

Well this is bad I'd say

Well this is bad I'd say somerhine else but I'll be nice. I brought all my accessaries (dash mounts, antenna, Ect) for the c330 I guess these will now become useless. Once the C330 stops working, wjay a waste of money that will be. I'm guessing the whole C3XX line will be discontinued. Forcing us to buy all new equipment.

Bulky C3** and C5** are being replaced by Nuvi.

The bulky C3** and C5** models will be discontinued soon. I think the entire C5** series are a failure.

?????

How do you figure?

Actually the C5 series has more volume and better speakers than the Nuvi series. Much less distorion at loud levels. As for bulk, yes it is thicker, but hardly what anybody could call bulky unless you plan on putting it in a shirt pocket.

IMO the best of the Garmins are the larger and yes bulky 2000 series. They have the best speakers, output, screens, routing, and map features.
