TomTom IOS ver 1.18.1 adds free Offline Speed Cameras to your map

There as a new update after v1.18 was released and this update has:
- This update adds free Offline Speed Cameras to your map
- iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4th gen. users (and other users of iOS5.x): this is the last version of the TomTom app that will support your device.
has anyone tried the offline speed camera to see if it works?
tested and working
i loaded the new version and once near the red light cameras it will show an icon and make a beep and then disappear off the screen.
Seems to be working on my route to work.
Question
Does the icon disappear before or after you have passed the camera?

the icon pops up on the top
the icon pops up on the top left when you close to the intersection and there is a icon on the road map and then disappears off the map after you see it.
