Town stuck in GPS Trip Route

Was going to call this stuck in Rudolph, WI but didn't want to confise the subject.
Had an interesting glitch this week. We were traveling in Norhtern WI and I wanted to stay off the Interstate for awhile so I was throwing towns a had of me on the state route on my 2460 (Veronica). I like talking to her anyway, so I would trow a town 10-20 miles ahead, close enough that the interstate would have been out of the way. We were doing fine till I decided to cut back over to the interstate to make some time up and canceled the route and the last town on the list was Rudolph, WI. All was well till later when we were again off the interstate and couldn't figure out where she was taking me, yep Rudolph, canceled route and starrted a new route again. All was good for several more changes in routes that day. Next day we were back track for some shoping and was going generally in the right direction and all of a sudden Veroia says we have arrived, yep we were in Rudolph. Veronica tried one more time later in the day to take me 20+ miles to Rudolph instead on 2 miles to a restraunt. Since the battery is basically shot in the 2460 I unplugged it while we had lunch and let it go dead, then plugged it back in and haven't had the problem since.
I have no Idea what got into her but it has become the standard joke ever since if we were heading towards Rudolph or not.

Veronica had "learned" that you wanted to go through Rudolph and was just trying to be helpful.

I have at some time inadvertedly stuck my finger on the screen and somehow saved an unwanted favorite.
As mentioned before search the favorites and delete any unwnted ones.

Not Saved
I had deleted the whole route at least 4 different times. It is not in the favorites and I would have had to choose to go there from the favorites after it was saved.
Almost all my program is done through the voice commands.
Wasn't looking for a solution, letting it go dead fixed the problem, it was just interesting. Gets scary when Veronica starts thinking for herself, my wife was getting concerned she might get replaced.

I will admit that I may not know what I am talking about, but could there be a correlation between your glitch and Recently Found? I am not sure what that list is really for, but I periodically delete it's contents.

Wife's Theory
We have a book with us that lists weird places in WI. We only went to a couple. Rudolph is listed as having a man made grotto, dug by a priest, and decorated with metal punched with a nail to make pictures and scriptures. He was trying to honor God for healing him or some such. We saw it listed but were not planning on going, one it sounded strange even for us and my wife doesn't like caves. My wife things Veronica was trying to force us to go to the grotto because we have been bad to her on this trip and not lisening to her when she tells us to turn and wants us to repent.
