Loading maps into mapsource or basecamp

I have Topo 2008 maps but the last time I loaded it I ran a copy of mapsource and it loaded with the install. Somehow tha version of mapsource became disconnected with the Topo maps. I know there is a registry hack that will add them to the product list but I forgot what it is. I've done it before. Does anyone have any ideas?
Javawa GMTK?
I am not sure if it will help your specific issue, but you might want to try the Javawa GMTK utility (found here: http://www.javawa.nl/gmtk_en.html). I know it will repair some types of registry errors relating to Garmin maps.
