Hi, I will be traveling to England in October for a vacation, does any know if I can download sites in England or if I will have to purchase a separate SD card for Europe for my Nuvi 350 to work over there?

Your nuvi will work but your CN North America doesn't cover Europe.
You can purchase CN Europe either on DVD or on SD card. There are advantages and disadvantages to either format.
The SD cards can be used in any GPSr (that supports them) and don't have to be unlocked to a particular unit. This would allow you to sell the cards if you no longer need them. However, you can't load the maps into MapSource.
The DVD has to be unlocked to a particular GPSr and is locked to that unit. But you can also load the data in MapSource.
